Iration Ites to RETURN!

Kingston, Jamaica:– Having been postponed because of the heavy rains in October, the Darren Hamilton conceptualised live music festival and ‘itesperience’, The Iration Ites, is set to bring Wicky Wacky in Bull Bay alive with the exciting sounds of music and performances. The stage is set for Friday November 26, 2010 to become the fusion of cultural vibes, international acts and positive conscious performers.

The Uprising Roots Band

The show’s acts will include the Reggae vibrations of headline acts Winston McAnuff, Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith & Inna De Yard, Prophecy, Vania, Earth Warrior, Field Marshal, Lee Tafari, The Uprising Roots, and Lees Unlimited (est 1968); as well as a number of special guests artistes.

Hamilton, who is a staunch supporter of live music, said that he thought it “best to invite bands that are poised to be next major acts locally and internationally and Iration Ites is geared to bring the root of Reggae music to the fore and to build appreciation of our own music”.

The mission of Tru Muzik, Hamilton’s company, is simply to carry the message from Jamaica to the world; and he also promised that “it will be a night of trail blazing bands all on one stage in a festival atmosphere. Just amazing music all night long.”

Each act will also be allowed an area where they will be allowed to distribute promotional material have an area for themselves in an effort to promote their individual brands.

“It is very important that musicians and performers have a space to exercise their craft, and where music lovers can get a chance to see music in its truest and purest form. It’s absolutely fantastic that there are already people and places where this platform for our local music to shine and grow is provided, but live music needs more and the people want more” he commented.

Patrons should look out for a great experience at Wicky Wacky this Saturday. Admission to the event is $500 and the show is set to begin at 7pm sharp
