A melting pot of sounds is how a musical pundit describes the music of recording artiste Jah ShepHard. In a harshly competitive space such as the music industry being unique is a critical component and one that this Bahamian melody maker embodies naturally. Following the release of two new singles entitled “Hold it“ and “Go Get It“ he has been enjoying a regional buzz that he hopes will transcend to global success.
“At present, I have two singles that are doing well in various parts of the Caribbean and I am putting in the work to grab a global audience. The fans are saying it’s my time so I am very optimistic about my chances of becoming a global star over time“ stated Jay ShepHard.
Born Jamaal Marc Anthony Saunders, the Nassau Bahamas native says he grew up listening to the sounds of Bob Marley, Micheal Jackson, Bone N Thugs, and Gentleman. This eclectic mix of sounds along with his multicultural upbringing explains how he developed his unique sound. However, what may come as a surprise to many is the fact that he also survived a vicious gun attack during which he was even shot in his face. According to Jay ShepHard, he knows he is here for a great purpose.
“My life is like a movie and I have no regrets because I believe the things I went through made me into the man I am today and I know many people will use my story to inspire themselves to rise above all their obstacles” stated Jay ShepHard.
Currently, Jay ShepHard is busy promoting his new singles Hold it and Go Get It.
