Prior to last night’s game against the Pistons at The Palace at Auburn Hills, LeBron James touched on the story that has been all the talk in Detroit: Miguel Cabrera’s contract extension. “I wish we didn’t have a salary cap,” James said. “The best players in each sport should be rewarded. It would be nice to sign a 10-year contract for $300 million. I would do it. I would do it for sure.” LeBron also said that he would opt out of his current contract to get that type of deal this summer.
