Kingston, Jamaica – The LIME Campus Crew Tour finale came to quite a zesty end on the grounds of the Bridgeport High School last week Friday afternoon.

The show which commenced with performances from the students and giveaways from the telecommunications giant quickly escalated with some of the hottest performances from the island’s top artistes. Among them was newcomer Denique known for her recent single, Summer Love, another newcomer, a very versatile Ikaya, the saucy Timberlee, the hilarious Tanto Blacks, the seductive Alaine and the movement-defying dance group, Shady Squad.

However it was Mavado’s entrance to the stage which created sheer pandemonium. Students raced from all corners of the school’s campus to catch a glimpse of one of dancehall’s most celebrated artistes and they weren’t disappointed. During his brief set he declared it was his first school tour and “me waah say big up to LIME fi dat.”

Other showstoppers for the afternoon included T.O.K who showed their immense talent and why they have maintained their fan-base and have become known as some of the youngest veterans in the industry; talented singer/songwriter and performer Big Ship’s, Chino McGregor; the capable Khago and the already superb entertainer, young QQ.

Over the weeks the tour visited a number of schools including Waterford High, Portmore Heart Academy, Portmore Community College, Cumberland High School, Ascot High School and more. Each school received free internet for one year and computers courtesy of LIME.
