Lord Jamar addressed rumors that Vybz Kartel has become an official police informant after being incarcerated on murder charges, in an exclusive with VladTV.
Lord Jamar wasn’t at all surprised to hear the rumors, because in his eyes the honor code against snitching has died down over time. “The incentive to not snitch is no longer there,” Jamar stated.
He then spoke on how his generation was bred to deal with certain situations that the newer generation doesn’t prepare for, or respect quite as much. Jamar was then asked a hypothetical question about whether he would snitch on Sadat X if he arrested for a murder that his fellow Brand Nubian member committed, and Jamar stated firmly that he would not.
