Lutan Fyah rocks Amsterdam

Lutan Fyah rocked The Sand Beach Sports and Events Studio in Amsterdam recently with an outstanding performance.

The artiste, who hails from the community of St Jago De La Vega in Spanish Town, was backed by the House of Riddims Band from Austria.

Lutan Fyah delivered songs like Never Stop Praise Rastafari, which had the 4,000-plus crowd in an uproar. He then greeted the people of Amsterdam and sang Bits And Pieces that had the crowd rocking and singing. He followed up with his new freestyle track Go Dung, then Blood Stain and Africa, the title track from his latest double album.

The Rastafarian chanter performed for over 40 minutes but the massive crowd wanted more of Jamaica’s cultural ambassador. He then told the massive to Give Thanks And Praises then he delivered What A Woe.

Lutan Fyah also performed his new hit-bound single Nuh Talk. This was loved greatly by the Amsterdam massive; he had to do two encores of this song.

Other performers on the event were I-Wayne, Fantan Mojah, Perfect, Warrior King, Natty King and Duane Stephenson.

The SunSplash Festival event was launched for the first time in Amsterdam. The festival content is pure reggae music with artistes from Jamaica and the Caribbean and promoted by Sun Splash Events.

Lutan Fyah started 2009 on a high note with the release of his new album Africa making strides worldwide, and winning two IRAWMA awards.
