Kingston, Jamaica: – If you’re in Kingston this weekend and looking for a cool place to party, you could only be heading to one place — Magnum Marina Sundays.
The twice monthly event is set to return to Danny’s Marina in Harbour View on Sunday July 31, with resident dj Juju Royal commanding the wheels of steel and guest dj Fire Blacks from Area Code adding to the vibe.
The event, hosted by the Fluffy Diva Ms Kitty, is sponsored by Magnum, Digicel and Charley’s JB Rum. With that, you can only expect “exciting things”, according to Ms Kitty.
“We will be having all sorts of giveaways from our sponsors and will be having some crazy Magnum bucket deals. Already, Magnum Marina Sundays is an event that’s filled with a great vibe, so when you add good deals and a whole lot of energy to some good music and great company… it’s unbeatable,” said Ms Kitty.
She added that since Monday is going to be a public holiday – patrons should come out and prepare to party until they say when.
“Remember that Magnum Marina Sundays is wicked, cool Sunday time vibe. The best of the 70s, 80s and 90s. Immortal music, celebrities and real cool people – that’s what we offer by Danny’s Marina on a Sunday evening.
“But this Sunday ago tun up even more, because Monday is a public holiday – so the DJs are really going to let loose and rip up the place,” she said.
Magnum Marina Sundays, since its appearance on the entertainment calendar, has filled a void in East Kingston and continue to deliver on Miss Kitty’s original promise of “entertainment at its best”.
The latest instalment of the event takes place this Sunday, July 31 at Danny’s Marina in Harbour View. The event will feature resident disc jockey Juju Royal, as well as guest disc jockey Fire Blacks from Area Code. Admission to Magnum Marina Sundays is $500, and ladies get in free before 11:00pm.
