Trinidadian rapper Mechanic T.I.D is currently making the rounds in Jamaica In a bit to grow his Jamaican fan base. The fast-rising entertainer says he felt the need to make the trod to Jamaica to record with local producers and do a press run because his music is inspired by dancehall and Jamaican culture.
“Jamaica is the home of Reggae and dancehall which are at the core of my sound as such I felt as if I had to come and do my groundwork here. Additionally I wanted to record with local producers and artistes”.
The fusion artiste also recently paid tribute in song to the legendary “Teddy Bruk Shut” who gained global recognition for his starring role in the Jamaican classic movie Shottas.
According to Mechanic T.I.D he has new music to release in the upcoming weeks and plans to release a dancehall-inspired EP later this year.
