Singer Robert Minott’s Right Man Fi Yuh single has leap frogged its way to the top of the Jamaica Music Countdown top 25 Reggae Singles chart. Minott is quite elated about this achievement.

In a release to the media, he said “I’m extremely humbled and elated at the overwhelming response to the single. I appreciate the love from the fans as I couldn’t have made it to #1 without them”.

Minott has been capitalizing on the success of the song with a number of appearances and performances stateside. He recently completed promotional runs in Texas, California, Atlanta and the New York tri-state area.

Right Man Fi Yuh was produced by Kirk Bennett of Kirkledove Records and World Beat Music Group. The song tells the tale of a man trying to convince a young lady to take a chance with him, reinforcing the point that she’s the one for him and he’s willing to change his ways to her liking.

The follow up single Silver Words is already predicted to be a winner. A video for the song was recently directed by Lyndonne Payne of Ink Media Productions and shot on location in Texas.

The song was also produced by Bennett and World Beat Music Group. Said Minott, “We’re just getting ready to have the single released and based on the overwhelming response to Right Mah Fi Yuh, I’m hoping that my fans will be even more accepting of Silver Words”.

Silver Words features US based rapper Kirki B, who is of Jamaican parentage.
