The single depicts current societal lifestyle of whom Leontre terms as “Dutty Bad Men’ in a line from her song. The song floats with a natural one drop, groovy vibe, mixed with a raw and sultry resonance. Her passion lies mostly in her country as she reflects what she sees or hears on the news or in and around her environment.

At the tender age of five Leontre started singing and writing poems and songs which led to her first choir performance in church at age seven. She has since then been completely sold out to music. It was at her Alma Mata, Hampton High School that she developed her singing and writing abilities.

LEONTRE` not only has the voice of an angel; but the beauty of one as well. She was a contestant in the Miss Jamaica World Western 2006 beauty pageant where she was placed 4th, and awarded best figure and skin tone, she then went on to Miss Jamaica World 2006 where she was placed in the top ten and held the title of Miss Jamaica Talent. In 2008 Leontre` was crowned Miss St. Elizabeth Festival Queen and placed top five in the national competition.

Leontre` is currently recording her debut album for Gully Bank Musik Ltd and has also recently recorded some singles for two other prominent Jamaican producers. Leontre` recently wrote a song called ‘8am’ for the just concluded “In The Dance”…and performed it in the their second season which was aired on TVJ…that song is also one of the tracks on kreesha turners album to be launched on 106 and Park November 15, 2011.

LEONTRE` is influenced mainly by Sarah Vaughan, Etta James, Dinah Washington, India Arie, Tanya Stevens and Lauren Hill. She admires artists such as Duane Stephenson, Assassin, Busy Signal and Tessanne Chynn.
