Remember Ms Triniti’s recent collaboration with the now official “King of Dancehall” Beenie Man?. They were burning burning and hot enough it seems because the video for that single is now in rotation on VH1 with an even greater feat to accomplish in the very near future. The English born, California base artist has now teamed up with ‘ Addi di teacha’ to create another steamy single entitled “Lock Down”.
Vybz Kartel put aside for a minute, his usual raunchy, hard core style and completely transformed his lyrics into a suggestive “Mr Vybz Kartel” piece proving that he know how to adjust his skills to accomodate a lady. While Ms. Triniti ‘bring it’ with her usual hip gyrating, teasing, sultry piece to create what seems like the flip side of romping shop.
The radio djs are loving this one and shares similar sentiments about the songs’ potential with the selectors in the streets. Ms. Triniti and her team have once again oiled their promotional machinery to launch into an extensive campaign. “I enjoyed working with Beenie Man, we are friends and our single together is still doing great. I am also a big fan of Vybz Kartel so it was kinda crazy working with him as well” says Triniti.
Ms. Triniti met Kartel at a restaurant in Kingston on her first visit to Jamaica and both expressed their desire to work on a single then. That is now a reality and it is now time for Ms Triniti to “Lock Down” her Jamaican fans with this her second collaboration with a major Dancehall artist.
