Ms Triniti is back in Jamaica to shoot yet another video this time with Dancehall’s most popular artiste Vybz Kartel for their collaboration “Lock Downâ€Â. Triniti is also here to debut the video for her single Mr. DJ which was shot the last time she was here. The single is popular in the Dancehall and enjoying heavy rotation on almost all radio stations across the island.
Lock Down demonstrates the Dancehall teacha’s lyrical prowess as he suggestively charms the slick lady, who by the way, held nothing back when she unleashes her sexy, sultry style to capture the imagination of the listener creating the right vibe to make this song a rated next single.
When asked about how she felt working with Vybz Kartel, Ms. Triniti says, “very priviledged working with Kartel, he thinks of me as his peer and that’s fascinatingâ€Â. Ms Triniti and Vybz Kartel met at a restaurant in Kingston on her first visit to Jamaica and both expressed their desire to work on a single then, she says, “my stuff is Ragga-Hop and more commercial and his is authentic Dancehall so we blendâ€Â.
Ms Triniti recently visited Italy where she performed in three (3) cities with headliner Collie Budz and as a result landed a record deal with an independent company called Get Up Records. She is expected to return to Italy to record with locals and further promote her album which is also being distributed in Canada by Universal and Japan.
