Hip-Hop hook master Nate Dogg recently pleaded guilty to assaulting to the boyfriend of his ex-girlfriend.

According to TMZ.com, Nate Dogg, born Nathanial Hale, appeared in an Orange County, California court on March 20.

He pleaded guilty to aggravated trespassing and battery, stemming from an incident in which his former lover accused him of breaking into a Huntington Beach home and punching her new boyfriend in the face.

The pair filed a restraining order against Nate Dogg, who was charged with aggravated trespass of a dwelling, battery, annoying telephone calls and other misdemeanor charges. Nate Dogg was sentenced to three years probation.

He must also complete a domestic violence/batterers treatment program and cannot be in possession of a weapon for 10 years.

In 2001, Nate Dogg pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of an unmarked gun, after he allegedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend and set her mom’s car on fire.
