Omari Banks Brought Sunlight to London!

On April 7th, 2017 soulful reggae rock blues singer Omari Banks took the stage to a standing room sold out crowd at Notting Hills Arts Club in London to shine Sunlight on it’s patrons.

The anticipated event hosted by Robbo Ranx was attended by fans, music lovers, entertainment fraternity and notables such as BBC 1Xtra Seani B, Play Maker Group’s Ray Paul, Princess Pyhia of Reggae Britannia, Anguilla Tourism board, DJ Sarah Cee, Mikee Majestic and Heartical of The Beat London, Mix Master J, Vibes FM Daddy Ernie, and multi-award winner British soul singer-songwriter Laura Mvula. All were in attendance as Omari backed by the Amazing Soul Rebel Band performed some of his classics songs, as well as unveiled tracks from his forthcoming album “Sunlight”.

As Omari trods on to his Spring 2017 tour, next stop will be on April 14th for an intimate acoustic performance at the Watering Hole in Cornwall, April 22nd at Studio 672 in Cologne, Germany, and on April 25th, a slated performance at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s, one of the world’s most famous jazz clubs. For Omari Banks performing at Upstairs at Ronnie’s holds a deep meaning, as since the early days of Sarah Vaughn, Count Basie and Miles Davis, the club continues to present the biggest names in jazz including Wynton Marsalis, Cassandra Wilson and Kurt Elling. Omari will continue delivering Sunlight on April 30th at Hootananny, Brixton with more dates and countries to be announced.
