After the killing of Patrick “Roach” Samuels last Sunday in Kingston, their were reports of a raid on Vybz Kartel’s prison cell at the Horizon Remand Centre, Kingston as investigators seek to find the perpetrators of Roach’s killing.
Though the police have not officially linked the raid to Roach’s killing, it triggered a wide spread speculation, that Kartel who has been behind bars for almost two (2) years is somehow implicated in the crime.
In a handwriting letter (below) sent to the media via Riddim Stream, Kartel disassociate himself with anything of the producers untimely death, ascertain its another case of people trying to frame him.
What may be driving the speculation is that Roach went public with a dispute in 2008 after being Kartel’s Road Manager for a while but as you may see in this interview aired back in 2008, the dispute was resolved.
