Popcaan Refutes Visiting Donna-Lee Murder Suspect, Noel Maitland

On Wednesday night, Popcaan refuted the claim that he was the musician who had visited murder suspect Noel Maitland the previous week.

It’s alleged that a well-known artist visited the murder suspect when he was being imprisoned at the Grants Pen lockups, according to allegations made by protest organizers. Maitland wasn’t yet charged at the time.

The reports further alleged that the visit was not documented as required in the station log resulting in one police officer being reassigned.

Based on forensic evidence and technological information from his phones, Maitland was charged with the murder of his girlfriend and social media influencer Donna-Lee Donaldson on Tuesday, August 2. Additionally, they stated that he would be transferred out of the Grants Pen police station as a result of an uninvited visit by an artist. A police officer who permitted the visit was consequently transferred while an inquiry is being conducted.

According to an account on Instagram, it’s alleged that the 876 GUD artist visited the troubled police officer and One Time Label producer, along with his rumored girlfriend Toni-Ann Singh. To set the record straight and clear his name, Popcaan has shot back at his accusers via his official Twitter account.

Popcaan hasn’t made any public statements or comments about the case yet, and he had no known connections to the alleged murderer Noel Maitland.
