RED STRIPE DREAM WEEKEND TO KICK OFF THIS FRIDAY
Big time party fans should be bracing to have the time of their lives as Red Stripe launches its Summer Kick-off Party, the official launch party of the Red Stripe Dream Weekend this coming Friday night, June 19, at the National Housing Trust (NHT) rooftop in New Kingston.
Some of Jamaica’s best disc jockeys and sound systems, including Coppershot and Code Red, ZJ Dream Liquid, Kurt Riley, will be on hand to help ramp up the vibe as the run up to the best weekend ever gets kicked into high gear.
The Dream Weekend, four days and nights of the very best party experiences, is set for Negril during the Independence weekend August 6-9. Considered to be the best party package available, the Dream Weekend includes two Smirnoff Signature events – Smirnoff Xclusive and Twisted Spiritz – as well as Red Stripe Beer Vibes, Daydreams, Absinthe, Xtreme Wet and Wild and Yush and the Margaritaville Days and Jungle Nites.
Armbands for the Dream Weekend will be available at a steal of $7,000 for one night only at Friday night’s launch as well as at Margaritaville Ocho Rios, Montego Bay and Negril and at Beavers Bar and Grill in Mandeville. Armband holders will also be able to access special packages at Hedonism II and Grand Lido Negril. Guests with armbands who pay for three nights at either of these hotels get a fourth night free.
In the weeks leading up to the big weekend, fans of the extremely popular armband weekend can whet their appetites for amazing party experiences at a series of eight weekly parties island wide at Margaritaville Mobay, Negril and Ocho Rios, Memorabillia Beach Bar and Grill in Montego Bay, Ocean’s 11 in Ocho Rios, Pure/Plush in Kingston, Blue Beat in Montego Bay and Beaver’s Bar and Grill in Mandeville.
On Sunday, July 12, Morgan’s Harbour Hotel in Port Royal will host Absinthe, which will be followed by a series of Dream Nite parties on Thursdays at Margaritaville MoBay and Oceans 11 in Ocho Rios; Fridays at Beaver’s Bar and Grill in Mandeville; Saturdays at Blue Beat on the Hip Strip in Montego Bay, Margaritaville MoBay, and Ocho Rios; and Sundays at Memorabillia Beach Bar and Grill in Montego Bay and Margaritaville Ocho Rios that will also host Dream Nites on Wednesdays.
All these events culminate in time for the start of the Negril Dream Weekend that starts on Thursday, August 6, with Absinthe at Margaritaville, Negril from 2p.m.to 10 p.m which is expected to get patrons charged up to take on Twisted Spiritz that starts at 10pm Thursday night.
On Friday Long Bay Beach Park will host the throng of party animals for Daydreams the original all white party, from 2 to 10 p.m. after which they will trek to Margaritaville for Negril’s only 90’s party Yush that kicks off at 10pm Friday night
Negril’s number one event Xtreme Wet and Wild gets rolling at noon on Saturday, August 8 at the Kool Runnings Water Park in Negril and ends at time just in time for Red Stripe Beer Vibes Saturday night at 10 pm.
The wild weekend ends on Sunday, August 9 with the Smirnoff Xclusive at Margaritaville Negril. The finale starts at noon and ends eight hours later.
