Kingston, Jamaica: Already gaining the title as “Facebook Sensation” from those who have heard her many recorded videos of her singing, Multi-talented would be an understatement to describe the Rockwildaz rising superstar, Kimberly Nain. Be sure to remember the name, Kimberly Nain aka “LaLa” as she is sometimes called is fast becoming a household name.
Kimberly Nain will soon be on your television screens as the co-host of an upcoming TV show called “Sync” which will be aired on CVM TV. Her amazing vocal range is “wowing” her listeners across the globe, she is being compared to the likes of Jennifer Hudson, Toni Braxton & Alicia Keys with a hint of Rihanna’s style. Her latest single, “Tempted” which is produced by Mr Lik of Trench Town Kgn12 Music. The single displays her power and wide vocal range on a old school styled Reggae One Drop beat, reminiscent of the good old Tuff Gong & Bob Marley days of reggae, the young singer captures that old essence and tips it off with her own flair and youthful enthusiasm.
Kimberly’s vocal ability was invited to be apart of a collaborative effort called “Jamaica Unite” which also features the King Yellow Man, Etana, D’Angel, Raine Seville and many more artistes. She was chosen as the lead off singer of the song because her vocals were just that outstanding. Be on the look out for the official release of this single which promises to be amazing.
Her outstanding stage performing ability is one to be admired as her latest live performance in May 2010 at the Village Blues Bar still has people talking and wanting more, and that they will in July 2010 at Alric & Boyd’s IN THE MIX.
If that alone doesn’t already make Kimberly Nain the young “Superwoman” of the 21st Century, then add the fact that she is also a songwriter, model & actress who have been featured in music videos with Konshens, Leftside, Bugle, Drake, Mavado & others. Kimberly Nain has added make-up artist to her repertoire as she does her own makeup and have been employed to make-up singer Bridgez for her music video which features Bounty Killer. And it doesn’t stop there, on top of it all, Kimberly Nain is a law student at the University of Technology going into her second year while living outside of the corporate area, now wow… she also holds a teaching Diploma from Mico Teacher’s College while still at the tender age of 21.
Kimberly Nain projects herself as a role model for her peers and youngsters to emulate as she strongly believes in education, it is the key to opening the door to ANY career path you choose. Some have chosen to abruptly end their tertiary education to pursue their dreams. But Kimberly remains focused as she intends to continue her education while steadily increasing her awareness within the entertainment industry where she hopes to start recording her debut album in 2011 towards a 2012 release.
