Ending months of speculation, singer Richell Bonner, better known as Richie Spice has formally confirmed that he has parted company with his long time management team, Fifth Element Records.
A release from Bonner Cornerstone, which has also been an integral part of the artiste’s management team, noted that Fifth Element and Richie Spice “have parted on amicable terms” and that the decision taken in the best interest of Richie Spice’s career.
“Fifth Element Records can be credited with shaping the career of Richie Spice, one of the world’s most critically-acclaimed reggae artistes, and has expressed their blessings for him on his journey. After spending so many years atop charts around the world, Richie Spice has taken a decision to invest more time and energy into his own, previously formed, family-based management company, aptly titled Bonner Cornerstone Music,” the release stated.
Bonner Cornerstone Music currently handles the affairs of the Bonner brother, Spanner Banner, Snatcha Lion and Richie Spice himself.
According to Richie Spice, the change was necessary, as he “desires to take his career on a different path”.
Richie Spice joins the roster of artiste to leave the Fifth Element camp, as deejay Chuck Fenda and singers Anthony Cruz and Etana were also once a part of the outfit.
