Wife of dancehall artiste Nesbeth died on Wednesday, February 17 in the United States (U.S).
In an official statement released by the artiste’s management team, his wife, Ann-Marie Elliot died of undisclosed complications.
“The family of the singer would like to thank everyone for their heartfelt love and continued support in this time of grief while requesting that their privacy be respected as they bereave a great loss,” the release stated.

Fans of the My Dream singer used social media to offer their condolences, and show support for the entertainer, even offering a few words of
“I just want to say condolences to you and your family, just hold your head up and stay strong mi artiste,” one user commented.
“Death have a time to steal us away, but take comfort my brother … knowing that God will wipe the tears from your eyes. He will give you the strength to go on. Keep the faith and take comfort in God.”
“My deepest condolences to you and the family,” another posted.

Some users expressed sadness at the timing of Elliot’s death, stating that Nesbeth was just beginning to enjoy the fruits of his labour after struggling in the entertainment industry for several years.

Nesbeth’s wife, Ann-Marie Elliot, passed away on Wednesday night in the United States. The two had been together for more than a decade.
