The single which is a production of Rollie’s “Above The Averagerecord label pieces together a story supposedly involving an underage girl who gets involved with an artist that is later jailed and brought to justice after the juveniles parents becomes aware of the situation, but in a bizarre twist “Fresh” has come under scrutiny with many mistaking him for the artist incarcerated.

“Well firstly the song “Neva Kno” began getting public attention after we shot the music video but some how I think people assumed it was a true to life experience for me and that is where the problem started. People assuming the wrong thing and I felt it was time to get the right story out to the public. “Neva Kno” is a fictional song its not my story I neva committed any offense of that nature so to all the people out there trying to damage my character, try again”.

According to Fresh the song speaks to circumstances which can be seen in today’s society. “Right now I know a lot of men can relate to the song cause its real and because its a sensitive topic people shy aware from it”.

To date the video which was directed by Terminal 4 has been deemed “not fit for airplay” by at least one local television station. The song however has been doing well alongside other new singles such as “Good Life” which features new comer Chronixx and the dancehall remix to Lil Wayne’s “How To Love” single.

“Recently I did a dancehall version of Lil Wayne’s track called “Leaders Nah Nuh Love and I’ve been getting rave reviews from people in the fraternity. The disc jocks love the song and they have been playing it alongside the original so i’m really grateful for that”.
