(Kingston, Jamaica) –Since leaving the island last month, singer Romain Virgo has been doing extraordinarily well on his promotional tour of the US.
He has already racked up interviews with some of the USA’s leading media houses and personalities catering to the Dancehall industry, ranging from: Vibe Magazine’s Rob Kenner, of the ‘Boomshots’ section; Pat McKay of Sirius radio; Hot 97 Boston; Choice 102.9FM, Datz Hit Radio 103.1fm, Vibe 105.1fm and more. In addition, Romain also did a ‘meet and greet’ with an outpouring of fans at the Irie Jamaica Style Restaurant in Boston. The event was hosted by Hot 97’s DJ JKool.
“It’s been a great experience being here and doing interviews and promoting my music. Before I came, I knew people loved my music, but I am always surprised to see the amount of love I get when I go to the radio stations and they do call-ins. It’s just a blessing,” said Romain who is known for his hits, Cyaan Sleep, Who Feels It Knows It, Love Doctor, Wanna Go Home, This Love and more.
Romain who was recently signed to VP Records has a plethora of additional promotional stops to make in Los Angeles and Florida before he returns to the island in two weeks. While here, he will complete work on his self-entitled debut album which is slated for release on the VP Records label next month.
