When it comes to flow, lyrical prowess and vocal delivery no musical pundit can deny that Sevanteen has the skills to rival the best of the best in dancehall. Despite the fact that it is still early days in his musical journey this St. Thomas native has shown glimpses of what is to come.
Born Damani Brown, Sevanteen crafted his sound by being the school deejay at his alma marta St. Thomas Technical High school. According to Sevanteen he always knew he wanted to be a recording artiste and he recalls an occasion where his mother threatened to stop sending him to school because of the fact that his great interest in music was diminishing his academic performance.
Fast forward to 2022 and Sevanteen has made leaps and bounds toward his musical goals. He has established his own record label known as Bygdawg Sevan Records and has released a slew of singles most notably Ungrateful, Back and Belly Rat, Anxious Anxiety and Blood Shed.
Currently, Sevanteen is busy in the studio working with several top-flight producers as well as finalizing several self-produced singles. He is also promoting his new singles entitled Anxious Anxiety and Hurricane Gilbert.
