Ride It is the latest single from Top Gyal singer after saluting black beauty on the song “Black is Beautiful” to commemorate Black History Month in February.
“I think music has a responsibility when it comes to the subconscious and helping to develop certain things, especially in our kids. I wanted to be one of those people who reminds everybody listening to music that black is powerful if you feel somewhat inferior to what the world is trying to make a normal thing right now,” she told the Observer.
At the time of writing this article, Ride It was trending in the #2 position on Youtube Now and #6 YouTube Music Jamaica.
In 2016 the “Naturally” singer was a contestant on the Magnum Kings & Queens of Dancehall competition, making it into the top five.
Shaneil Muir is known for hits including Top Gal, Exclusive, Yamabella, and Drug Dealer.
