Skillibeng and Scalebaby “Cemetery” Collaboration Gaining Traction In The Street

Dancehall trap artiste Scalebaby has many reasons to smile of late considering the fact that he is gaining a major underground following after he released a street-savvy collaboration with international dancehall star Skillibeng. The track entitled “Cemetery” along with its accompanying music video has made its way into mainstream rotation on local and international media platforms while enjoying a major online buzz.

However According to Scalebaby since he has been added to the street playlist by selectors such as Boom Boom along with being endorsed by local vloggers like Terro Don and Reggae Media Tv he has seen major growth in terms of his local following.  

“Di ting inna di street now and it a work cuz me see di growth in my numbers and the general interest in my career. My Jamaican fanbase is growing rapidly and I must say respect to selectors like Boom Boom and vloggers like Terro Don, Reggae Media Tv and my pr Karl Durrant who have been giving me the strength” stated Scalebaby. 

Born Owen Micheal Johnson the Waterford St. Catherine native says music started from school days where he would be the center of attention during school breaks as he churned out witty lyrics while his friends beat the life out of the desks to provide beats.

“Growing up I had two passions music and football however music was always my priority and despite the many battles I had to fight to get to this point I would not trade my choice and journey for anything” stated Scalebaby. 

The self-styled dancehall trap artiste outlined that he has several other singles to look out for including the recently released track entitled “New Remedy” which has been buzzing online since its official release recently. 

“New Remedy is another banger which we will be going all out with in terms of groundwork however my collaboration with Skilli has everyone’s attention at the moment” stated Scalebaby.
