(Kingston, Jamaica) It’s Official, reggae singer / songwriter Sophia Brown has achieved yet another milestone in her career this time for topping the Radio Dubplate Canadian Hot Singles Chart late last week with her Cash Flow produced hit single “Let It Be Me”, symbolizing her first ever #1 on an internationally recognized chart listing.
Brown who was overjoyed with her latest accomplishment humbly stated “Right now I’m giving jah thanks and praise for what he has done for me cause it has motivated me even more, I feel ecstatic about this its a feeling I cant even explain because its the first International Chart I’ve topped since the start of my career and I am proud to have reached this far”.
It was only in June of last year that Brown entered the Italian Top 20 Album Charts with her “The Spotlight” debut coming in at #18. Known for topping local video and reggae charts locally Sophia Brown is promising even more big singles in the near future. “I feel like I am growing with each song, I feel this positive energy around me now and so I am working on finishing up more songs for my still untitled Sophomore album due out May 2011 for Universal Records”.
In other news Sophia Brown continues to heat up the radio airwaves with her new single “Lovers Rock” which has been getting nothing but rave reviews in the international arena.
