After news surfaced early Tuesday morning about terror attacks at the Brussels international airport and a city metro station that have left at least 31 people dead and many other seriously injured in attacks, the dancehall fraternity was sent into worry.
This comes as dancehall artiste Spice had a month long tour in Europe and recently performed in Belgium.
Just hours before the news broke, Spice was posting clips from her show in Belgium.
But Spice left Belgium and the Brussels international airport hours before the attack.
When contacted, a clearly emotional Spice is just giving God thanks while expressing that the news has her feeling frantic.
“It’s unexplainable to just wake up and hear this. I was just in that same spot, the departure lounge yesterday. I don’t have words to explain how I feel right now,” Spice told the STAR Online.
She also took to Instagram to assure concerned fans that she is back in Jamaica and she is safe and sound.
“I Was in this Airport Yesterday. Now I’m sitting at home Looking at what I missed by a few hours . Thanks be to God I’m home Safe but my heart goes out to BELGIUM. I was just there having fun with you guys and Now this,” she posted on Instagram.
“My condolences to the Families who lost there Love ones. Can’t believe I missed this Bomb attack by a few Hours. God is with me.”To all my Concern Fans I’m back in JAMAICA Safe and sound. PLEASE PRAY FOR BELGIUM,” she added.
Since then, her fans have been breathing sighs of relief.
“Glad you’re home safe. God is great,” popular comedian Elva commented.
“Knew you were in Belgium so had to check up on you ….. God is good happy your home and safe,” another said.
With another quick run to a European country left to do, Spice is not sure at this point whether she can take that on.
“I have a show in Spain this weekend, I have to go back to Europe and I’m terrified but a number of persons have been reaching out to me, I just want them to know that I am safe,” she said.

Other video shows the terrifying scenes in the aftermath of the bombings.
Smoke filled the terminal and stunned passengers can be seen lying on the floor while others fled in terror.
One video shows the utter devastation near a check-in counter at American Airlines — an abandoned baby stroller with one person on the ground, not moving as two others hold each other.
Footage of the grim aftermath displays rubble everywhere, broken windows in the terminal and injured passengers.
A Starbucks was apparently ground zero for one bomb inside the airport.
Seconds later, another bomb exploded on a subway train near the European Union offices in downtown Brussels — leading to a nightmarish scene as passengers evacuated then stumbled through the dark tunnel to safety.
