Teyana Taylor has been busy in the studio putting finishing touches on her long awaited debut album and has found time to release a track called “Sorry” which serves as taste of what to come from her album.
“Sorry” is a ballad that finds her laying down some raw- emotional vocals over a piano driven production as she sings about a man that didn’t know how to love her right: “I’m sorry you didn’t know how to love me. I’m sorry I wasn’t beautiful to you. Sorry you didn`t understand how to be my man” She sings from a place of love because while he failed to love her the right way she went on to find the right person for her.
Beautiful track that also serves as a great reminder that Ms Taylor has some very impressive vocal abilities outside her rapping skills.
