The Dream
The great Martin Luther King was quoted as saying ‘I have a dream’ those words have resonated with many generations since. Right here on the rock, a group of well known party promoters also have a dream. They have joined together to create the DREAM TEAM. These promoters have provided the Jamaican entertainment scene with over 100 years of combined experience of throwing premium events in Jamaica and South Florida.
The idea behind this bold new step for the dream team is to create the ultimate getaway, a one of a kind party experience and a signature brand that will rival Spring Break in Cancun, Carnival in Trinidad and Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
To make the dream a reality the DREAM TEAM had to bring together the best parties on one armband for the ultimate Negril Independence experience. At last this dream has finally come true and the DREAM Team and its partners Red Stripe are proud to bring to you the Red Stripe Dream Weekend Negril Jamaica on the Independence Weekend…..August 6-9th, 2009.
This dream experience will excite both corporate partners and patrons alike. The lineup of events in Negril will include a collection of the biggest and best events to be held on the Independence weekend for one very inclusive experience that will be flawlessly executed.

The Road to Negril
This year the road to Negril will start on Thursday June 4th at our press conference on the roof of the newly opened Spanish Court hotel
The Red Stripe Dream Weekend Kick off party will be on Friday June 19th @ the roof of the NHT parking lot. This event will be the official armband launch whereby patrons can come to the event to purchase their Red Stripe Dream Band at a specially discounted price.
Patrons will also have opportunities to win complimentary tickets and other prizes at several premier events including:

In Negril
The Red Stripe Dream weekend has partnered with the Super Clubs hotel chain to give Red Stripe Dream Band Holders special discounts and incentives on rooms. We encourage patrons to book early as these rooms are clearly limited. Grand Lido Negril and Hedonism II Negril will be the two participating hotels.
Margaritaville Negril will be the redemption centre for the armbands. You will now be all set to take advantage of the incredible experience that awaits you at each event
To move around in Negril, Red Stripe Dream buses will shuttle you from your hotel to the entrance of each event and back home. We will enforce a Drink Responsibly campaign throughout the weekend to ensure that patrons party safely and responsibly.
The Aftermath
When the weekend comes to a close The Dream Team, Red Stripe and our other partners will have given you ‘all you ever wanted†in one weekend. As always we encourage all to party hard but responsibly.
