The Smirnoff Dream Weekend

THE DREAM
Last year a Jamaica’s top party promoters joined together to create the DREAM TEAM. With over 100 years of combined experience of staging premium events on the Jamaican entertainment scene, the promoters completely re-invented the Negril experience in 2009 and transformed the party landscape.

The idea behind this bold step was to create the ultimate getaway, a one of a kind party experience and a signature brand that would rival Spring Break in Cancun, Carnival in Trinidad and Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

The Dream became reality and thousands turned out to partake in the festivities and the best parties on one armband. The exclusive experience was the most talked about party series ever, exciting patrons, corporate partners and tourists alike.

The lineup of events in Negril included a collection of the biggest and best events for one very inclusive experience.

THIS YEAR

For 2010, the dream team will be adding some new energy to the brand through its alignment with Heineken and Smirnoff. The newly revamped weekend will be even bigger and better than last year and dubbed the Smirnoff Dream Weekend.

THE ROAD TO NEGRIL
This year the road to Negril began on Wednesday June 23rd at our press conference at Red Bones Blues Café, Kingston.
Patrons will have opportunities to purchase specially discounted tickets for a limited time and vie for prizes at several premier events including:

Smirnoff Osmosis July 3rd
Heineken Igloo July 18

IN NEGRIL
The Dream weekend has partnered with the RIU hotel chain to give Dream Band Holders special discounts and incentives on rooms (Conditions Apply). We encourage patrons to book early as these rooms are clearly limited. RIU Negril and RIU Tropical Beach will be the two participating hotels.

Again, Margaritaville Negril will be the redemption centre for armbands. Movement in Negril will be made easy once again as Dream buses will shuttle you from your hotel to the entrance of each event and back. Our Drink Responsibly campaign will be enforced throughout the weekend in order to ensure that patrons party safely and responsibly.

THE AFTERMATH
When the weekend comes to a close The Dream Team, Smirnoff, Heineken and our other partners will have given you ‘all you ever wanted” in one weekend.
