Mega platinum-selling singer Usher has already begun constructing ideas for his next album with a specific intention to give the release a more global feel.

According to Billboard, the R&B superstar plans to continue evolving as an artist as his following untitled project will aim to showcase his knowledge of fans’ likes and dislikes across the world as he prepares to create a universally appealing album.

“[It’s] all about adapting new musical styles in creating a unique blend between what I know works here in America and what I know will be appreciated worldwide,” he told Billboard. “I may go to France and do some work. I may go to London — Japan.”

Known for featuring major guest appearances like Ludacris, Alicia Keys, Young Jeezy plus tagging along hitmakers Jermaine Dupri, Lil’ Jon, Just Blaze and Bryan-Michael Cox, the Atlanta-based singer plans to experiment with a fresh cast.

“There’s a ton of artists I want to work with abroad,” he added. “I can’t give you specific [names] but I am interested in working with artists who are out of the range I’m accustomed to. I want to try new things.”

No release date or title have been given to the forthcoming album.
