(Kingston, Jamaica) — One of Dancehall’s newest sensations, Versatile, will be making his debut on one of the industry’s biggest festivals, Reggae Sumfest, which will be staged this Thursday – Saturday in Catherine Hall, St. James.
Versatile, whose correct name is Sheldon Taylor is known for his debut hit, Bank In A Mi Pocket, followed by My Year and more recently Sneakers, for which a video was shot. He says, “It’s a great feeling to be on Sumfest tell you the truth. I’ll be hitting the stage with Sasco (Assassin) on Thursday night for Dancehall night and maybe on International night with Beenie Man for our new single Watching You. It has a mad sexy vibe to it for the girls. We’ll be shooting the video for that in a few weeks.”
Following Reggae Sumfest, the young deejay says his plans include releasing more singles for a number of producers, including his manager, Romeich Major of Romeich Records.
