After topping the Billboard 100 charts for two weeks with “Panda,” Desiigner finally released its long-awaited music video.
Debuting exclusively on TIDAL, the visual finds Desiigner doing his signature dance moves — the finger snaps, the spazzing out, the violent shaking and dabbing. The 18-year-old rapper enlists Kanye West for a cameo in the visual. The feature comes as no surprise after Yeezus sampled “Panda” for The Life of Pablo track “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2.” “Panda” has since seen its share of memes in recent times and made its round on the club circuit.
In April, Desiigner said that his “Panda” comparisons are just a reflection of his mind. “The way my mind works is crazy, man,” he said. “I don’t say crazy like in a crazy psycho way, I mean crazy in like a great artist way. I have my own way of seeing things and I look at things totally different. So when I was just looking at the X6 I was just saying that’s a panda.”
The “Panda” video follows Desiigner’s Boyd-assisted single “Moon People,” which also dropped this week.
