Hard hitting deejays Aidonia and Suhverto, scoring one of the biggest dancehall hits of recent times with Wi Sick, will this weekend invade St Vincent and the Grenadines for the ‘One Love Independence Concert’ set for Saturday, October 30.
According to a release sent to THE STAR, the annual event slated for Victoria Park in Kingstown will see Aidonia and Suhverto being accompanied by fellow Jag One Productions (J.O.P) members; Navino and Deablo, both of whom have been steadily working to make a name for themselves locally.
The 3,500 capacity venue is expected to come alive as anticipation builds ahead of the group’s arrival. This was further reaffirmed by promoters One Love and Shabazz Promotions. “Ticket sales are going well and people are just buzzing about Aidonia who is one of the hottest dancehall acts on the island right now,” said the promoter.
Meanwhile, Aidonia, riding high with a number of singles is gearing up to shoot another video; Suhverto has released his video for the single Shake Up Her Body, produced by Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor; newest member Chedda will premiere his video Cleanest featuring QQ this weekend, while Navino and Deablo continue to promote their latest single In Deh on Chimney Records’ Sex Appeal rhythm.
