Dancehall artiste Denno delivered a credible performance at the just concluded Grace Tropical Rhythms Port Royal Seafood Festival.

The artiste whose current hit single Tek Mi Life has been number one on CVM TV’s Hit List countdown for the past two weeks, clearly improved on his showmanship as he held the capacity crowd inside the venue under his command for the ten minutes that he entertained.

Reeling off songs including Tek Mi Life, Caan Stop Da Yute Yah and his new single Mix Up Time (which is on the Over proof rhythm), the Master One recording artiste had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hands.

Commenting on his performance, Denno said “I think I have matured as a performer and I am more settled now in delivering the kind of performance that is expected from an artiste.”

It was Denno’s second time performing at the annual event. “The experience was great and I am thankful for the opportunity to perform for the people of Port Royal and others, who came out to the event,” said Denno.

The song Tek Mi Life is currently sprinting its way up several charts including the RE-TV MVP Top Ten video countdown; and the Pree Dis Top Ten Singles chart which airs on TEMPO. The song is number 16 on the HYPE TV Top 20 singles chart.

In explaining the story behind his latest hit, Denno outlined, “Tek Mi Life is a reality song which speaks about trust and people in general. You have to be careful about people who are bad mind and negative.”

Some of Denno’s forthcoming singles include Chatty Chatty on Chiney K Productions and My Mother which was produced by DJ Tropical from Hitz 92 FM.

His upcoming performances include the PCC Old Harbour Freshers Fete event on October 27; the Hitz 92 FM road show in Savanna-la-Mar on October 29 and Campus Rock at UTECH on October 28.
