Dancehall star I-Octane and certified diva Tifa sizzled the opening night of Reggae Sumfest last Thursday. Treating an entertainment-drenched crowd to hit iconic lyrics – the Digicel-endorsed duo lead by example in delivering positive lyrics at the show.
Tifa – who was chicly dressed in a red and white bedazzling ensemble – fed the crowd with sugar-sweet lyrics such as ‘Spell It Out’, ‘Nah Stop Shine’ and ‘Future Fambo’. The songstress erupted loud cheers of approval from the excited Catherine Hall when she delivered grand finale on stage with recent hit ‘I am swagging’. The swag queen was among the top performing female dancehall artistes to grace the Reggae Sumfest Stage on Dancehall Night.
Catching up with the Digicel ‘Inspired By Legends’ ambassador after her performance, Tifa expressed that she is pleased with the performance she gave and even more so with the amazing support and forwards she received from fans at the Reggae Sumfest grounds.
Then came the big moment – with a haze of glowing lights of orange and red heralding his appearance on stage at the darkened grounds of Catherine Hall amidst exciting cheers and whistles of support from a crowd of close to 25,000 patrons – Reggae singjay I-Octane lead by example in inspiring positivity in the clean lyrics he delivered at Reggae Sumfest.
Seamlessly transitioning between hard-hitting and conscious lyrics that set the crowd in frenzy – I-Octane commanded a magnificent air of confidence. Rocking the stage with hits such as ‘puff it’, ‘Mama You Alone’ and ‘lose a friend’ – I-Octane a received a flurry of forwards from males and females alike.
In the meantime, Digicel’s Senior Sponsorship and Activations Manager, Shelly-Ann Curran sung high praises for the company’s brand ambassadors performances at Reggae Sumfest. Commented Curran;
