Jay-Z Inks Deal To Bring 40/40 Clubs To Airports Around The Country

Jay-Z’s business resume just keeps growing. His popular 40/40 Club franchise is expanding, and will reportedly hit airports around the country very soon.

The hip-hop mogul recently struck a deal with North Companies, one of the world’s leading and hospitality service providers, which will place his sports-themed bars inside select airports throughout the U.S.

“The 40/40 Club is all about creating first-class experiences for guests who want to relax and watch their favorite games,” said Desiree Perez, one of the rapper’s 40/40 Club partners. “We want to see our club grow, and to bring those experiences to travelers. A partnership with Delaware North will do just that.”

The new deal could see the 40/40 chain open in up to 20 major U.S. airports, where travelers can relax, watch the game, and enjoy a beer during long layovers.

“We are thrilled to partner with the 40/40 Club, to bring a stylish sports bar and lounge to airports across the country,” said Robert Stanton, vice president of business development at Delaware North.

“From the personalized, one-of-a-kind jerseys on the wall, to every sports game you can think of on the television screens, the club will bring a new experience that we are sure travelers will welcome,” he added.

At press time, it was unclear when the addition of the new 40/40 Clubs would take place and/or which airports they were open in.
