Dancehall artiste YungDon Maestro Don is set to release his brand new single “Active Mode,” produced by Ricky Blaze and Greg Ice of JahChlo Productions. However before the single is dropped, the Who Dat singer made connections with Jahkno Radio for an exclusive preview and interview with our very own DJ Yagga.
So Maestro, tell us about this project “Active”?
Active Mode, produced by JahChlo Productions based in the US.
What made you gravitate towards this riddim/beat?
I’ve been recording songs for a minute and you don’t want to sound the same all the time. I love the uptempo vibe, it’s the mood right now.
What are you currently working on?
I’m currently working on an EP dedicated to the ladies titled “Dysfunctional”. I have a lot of relationship-based topics, that people can relate to, so look out for that.
How did you link up with Greg Ice and Ricky Blaze?
I always know of them from a long time but it was a mutual friend that made the link concrete. That friend rate the artiste and see the talent made a link with them. From we link up in the studio, it was a hit. We shoot the video which will be released on all streaming platforms on Aug 13th. The high-energy single is slated to be released on August 13, 2021 and according to the producer it is a track that is a sure club banger and one that has global appeal.
