Kingston, Jamaica: – Pre-concert gossip was widely spreading that the clouds were setting up to what is expected to be showers of ‘Raine’ on International Night II at the annual Reggae Sumfest concert on Saturday July 24, 2010. Such gossip turned out to be true in every sense of the word.
But it was the stunning Raine Seville who stepped on to the Digicel stage in her Gregory HOD designed outfit, and made up by her makeup artist, GiGi for her second appearance at the festival. The crowd was ecstatic and singing along word for word to Raine’s debut single “Drive Me Crazy”. It was almost like dancehall night as female patrons showed off their “Belly Wine” skills to her single of the same name and bursted out in excitement at one of her latest singles, “Nah Go Argue” which is fast becoming a hit single amongst female audiences. The song speaks to a female who calls her phone and Raine makes it clear she is not interested in her man.
The festival’s weekend was buzzing with activity for the DASECA First Lady & now Rockwildaz Family member who premiered a new music video with Wasp entitled “Nutten Nah Gwan” on Entertainment Report [ ER ] aired on TVJ on Friday July 23, 2010. Raine then made her way to Montego Bay for her appearance on the Digicel stage to what was to be the beginning of Raine’s birthday celebration on Sunday July 25 with a performance on International Night on one of Jamaica’s biggest concert stage shows.
Her performance has left Montego Bay buzzing in excitement about this new rising superstar and the future is indeed looking promising for Raine Seville as she continues to learn & grow musically and we can expect to see and hear more exciting things from this exciting young female singer.
