YGF Records scores Big with a Slew of Skillibeng Hits

Dancehall star Skillibeng seems to be able to do no wrong in the eyes of the musical space currently which underscores the value of his current network of producers who are churning out hits on rapid burst.

One such production entity is YGF Records which is responsible for a cluster of the trending artiste’s latest hits including Hot, Bad Everyday, YK Dat Guh, Trafalgar road and the controversial Chappa Gyal single featuring fast-rising female Honey Milan.

According to Tevin Richards of YGF Records, every production is a team effort which is one of the contributing factors to their continued success.

“As a team each member leaves their ego at the studio door when it is work time. It is a collective creative process which is hard to put into words you would have to experience it to fully understand how fun yet complex the production process is. Skillibeng is an artiste that is fun to work with, he is very talented and very quick in the studio which makes our job a little less stressful” stated Richards.

So often we forget to highlight the extraordinary persons that play such a vital behind-the-scenes role in making an artiste achieve and maintain success by ensuring that their sound is on point. The St. Ann-based Production label has become a staple on YouTube’s weekly trending list. With an impressive catalog that includes work with the likes of Shenseea, Mavado, Skillibeng, Jada Kingdom, Shatta Wale, Chronic Law, Jahvillani, Charly Black, Zamunda, Govana and Capleton.

“The goal is to leave a legacy so the work never stops and we are trying our best to maintain high production standards while incorporating the development of new talent” stated Tevin Richards.

Currently, the YGF Records team which comprises Tevin Richards, Derron, Ridwaan and Slingerz are gearing up to release a slew of new music for the likes of Skillibeng, Jahvillani, Zamunda, Honey Milan and many others.
